FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The United Way of Broward County is helping hundreds of students in military families get ready to return to school. On Wednesday, the United Way of Broward County’s MISSION UNITED distributed 900 backpacks filled with school supplies to families with active military members and veterans.
