Wildly popular breakfast chain brings scratch biscuits, Southern meals to Palm Beach County

The week of Aug. 12, Jacksonville-born Maple Street Biscuit Co. will open its first Palm Beach County restaurant in Royal Palm Beach.

The store, located at 11925 Southern Blvd., will host a grand opening celebration at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, and stands as the 67th location of the Florida-born chain owned by Cracker Barrel , which has one additional South Florida restaurant in Pembroke Pines.

Founders Scott Moore and Gus Evans opened the first Maple Street in 2012 in Jacksonville’s San Marco neighborhood. The fast-casual breakfast and brunch restaurant became a favorite local spot, quickly expanding with two additional locations in the Jacksonville area.

The company has since expanded the brand to 10 states and more than 65 “community store” locations, outpacing the growth of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, its signature chain.
