Publix Has Bought Out Its Landlord In Florida Shopping Centers With A $57 Million Purchase

Two Florida shopping centers – Woods Walk Plaza and Crestwood Square – will have new landlords – Publix. This may not be a complete surprise to Floridians as I’ve previously written about the grocer buying out The Ramblewood Square Shopping Center in Coral Springs for $59 million and Davie Shopping Center and Regency Square at Broward for $83 million. And now And now two more shopping centers will be getting the same treatment – to the tune of $57 million.

About Woods Walk Plaza: This is an 88,000-square-foot shopping center located in Wellington. In addition to having Publix as an anchor, it includes Supercuts, Bonefish Grill China King, Pak n Ship, and Brooklyn Water Bagels.

Patrons give this shopping center 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. A reviewer named Gail wrote in part:

“Love this safe, clean, plaza, with plenty of parking, handicapped as well. Anchor store is, Publix, nice restaurants, gas station, bagel shop, close to other shopping plazas on corners of Lake Worth Rd and 441…”
