Man killed, another injured in shootings west of LWB

LAKE WORTH BEACH — One man was killed and another injured Thursday night in shootings west of Lake Worth Beach, police said Friday.

Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies arrived at Melaleuca Lane and Davis Road at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday in response to multiple reports of gunfire. They found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg in the 4600 block of Davis Road, then went to the 3500 block of Melaleuca Lane, where they found a man dead from gunshot wounds.

Melaleuca Lane and Davis Road sit between Military Trail and South Congress Avenue south of Lake Worth Road, near Affron Park.

The names of the victims were not disclosed, and sheriff’s deputies said they had no information regarding suspects or motives.
