PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – The Town of Palm Beach is warning residents about a new scam involving QR codes. According to the Town of Palm Beach, the new scam is known as “brushing” and involves receiving an unexpected gift or package in the mail with a QR code attached. The town says the package will not have the sender’s information.
