LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – A 69-year-old woman from Lake Worth Beach was killed after being struck by a car while attempting to cross a highway on Wednesday morning. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) stated that at around 6:15 a.m., a Honda was driving southbound on North Dixie Highway and approaching Crestwood Boulevard in Lake Worth Beach.
