Deputies Search for Tamarac Credit Card Fraudster

Authorities searching for a credit card fraudster released surveillance footage on Monday. The alleged culprit may also have been behind a smash-and-grab theft in Tamarac. A female victim’s $1,700 designer purse containing her personal identification, credit cards, and other items was stolen shortly before 7 p.m. July 14 when an unidentified thief smashed the rear passenger window of her 2021 white Jeep Cherokee, which was parked near the 9000 block of Northwest 58th Street in Tamarac, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
