The lottery district office said he claimed his prize from the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY drawing on July 26.
Jean chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,223,575,20.
The JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY allows players to choose six numbers, from 1 to 46, in the first set, with a random Quick Pick selection in the second set. The jackpot ranges from $250,000 to $2,000,000, as it rolls down to increase the lower-prize levels in each drawing. A player wins when they match three or more numbers from the same set.
Since its inception in 2019, the JACKPOT TRIPLE PLAY has awarded nearly $156 million in prizes, creating 67 jackpot winners. More than $117.28 million has been generated from the game for Florida’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
