Operation Downpour, 20 Neglected Dogs Rescued from Arkansas Find Refuge in Boca Raton’s Tri County Animal Rescue

Twenty dogs, formerly in dire straits in rural Arkansas, arrived at Boca Raton’s Tri County Animal Rescue. Pulled from desperate hoarding situations, these animals – including newborn puppies and others suffering from neglect – needed immediate care and a new lease on life. Tri-County Animal Rescue reports that these canines were part of a significant rescue operation dubbed “Operation Downpour.”

In a journey to alleviate the distress of man’s best friend, the Tri County Animal Rescue team drove almost ten hours to Ocala, meeting with the Animal Rescue Corps to take in these 20 dogs. According to a statement obtained by Boca News Now, the animals suffered from “malnutrition, skin infections, and are scared and confused.” This transport marks the continuation of a decade-long collaboration between Tri County and the Animal Rescue Corps.

Tri County Animal Rescue holds a commitment that extends beyond the rescue. Each dog will undergo a thorough evaluation by Tri County’s medical team. In a recent Instagram post by Tri-County Animal Rescue, they detailed the conditions of the recovered animals: “Two nursing moms caring for 12 puppies, one dog with broken teeth, one suspected pregnant, all suffering from worms, skin infections, and years of neglect.”…
