Officer hospitalized after violent Tri-Rail station confrontation with trespasser

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla (CBS12) — A trespassing call at a Tri-Rail station turned violent when a man threw punches, shook off tasers, and sent an officer to the hospital.

Officers with the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) responded to a suspicious man lying outside a Tri-Rail station on the 200 block of S Tamarind Ave. around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

After confirming that the man, later identified as 42-year-old Jacomo Morris, was indeed trespassing on the property, deputies say they asked for ID and were met with hostility…
