We are still early in the year, but already southern Palm Beach County is vibrating with new arrivals on its already significant restaurant scene. And the variety is noteworthy, from Mexican fare and pizza to Argentinian steak and Italian. From Boynton Beach to Boca Raton, we took note of these eight arrivals. We recommend you check them out too.
Remember, these are the latest additions. Good food abounds in the county’s southern reaches, including the recent Michelin “selected” Nicholson Muir Distinguished Meats in Boynton Beach. And Delray Beach can boast Death by Pizza, which topped The Palm Beach Post’s reader’s choice show down in 2024 and came in a very respectable second in the 2025 rounds.

Paloma
This new Mexican restaurant opened on Feb. 25 in the downtown area of Boynton Beach. Featuring a slogan that states “Handcrafted Mexican Cuisine, Made with Love,” Paloma features many classics like tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, and burritos.

Delray Beach

Taking over the space formerly occupied by the recently moved Amar Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar, this new restaurant is all about pizzas with a hybrid sourdough crust cooked to lightly-charred perfection. A product of Kurban Hospitality Group, Gesto opened Feb. 19 and uses only Italian flour and top of the line ingredients. Owner Nicholas Kurban said “Pizza is a science, but great pizza is an art.” With a wood-fired oven that cooks pies in under four minutes and a 15 second margin of error that either means perfection or start over, that artistry is on full display.
