False ID Fails: Davenport Man Arrested On Polk County Charges, Broward Grand Theft Warrant

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 39-year-old Davenport man, Trenton Jovon Wright, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office early Wednesday morning, May 28th, following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over Wright’s silver Nissan sedan at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Ronald Reagan Parkway in the Davenport area due to multiple traffic infractions.

During the stop, Wright allegedly attempted to mislead the deputy by providing a false identity. However, the deputy quickly uncovered Wright’s true name and discovered that his driver’s license had been suspended in 2023. Furthermore, a records check revealed an active warrant for grand theft out of Broward County…
