The jury trial of former Broward County Public Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie is scheduled to start on Monday, June 9 at the Broward County Courthouse.
Runcie, who joined the school district in 2011, has pleaded not guilty to a perjury charge stemming from testimony he gave to a state-wide grand jury that investigated school-safety issues after the Feb. 14, 2018, mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
