‘This man is a monster’: Georgia woman speaks out after Singer Island assault arrest

SINGER ISLAND, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman walking her dog on Singer Island was followed to her front door and attacked. Weeks later, DNA from her clothing led detectives to a suspect with a disturbing past—and possibly more victims.

On May 30, the Riviera Beach Police Department (RBPD) responded to a call in the 1200 block of Yacht Harbor Drive. A female victim told officers she had been grabbed from behind by an unknown man who then exposed himself and ran.

“Asked to pet her dog. She allowed the male to pet her dog, and as she was about to enter her residence, the male grabbed her from behind and basically assaulted her by grabbing her,” said Major Steven Thomas. “When she turned around, she noticed that the male’s sexual organs were exposed.”…
