‘I didn’t hear him coming. I didn’t see anything’: Singer Island assault victim speaks out

SINGER ISLAND, Fla. (CBS12) — A suspect accused of targeting vulnerable women across Florida and other states has been arrested.

The arrest comes after a woman walking her dog on Singer Island was followed to her front door and attacked. Weeks later, DNA from her clothing led detectives to Isaiah Singleton, a suspect with a disturbing past and possibly more victims.

It was May 30 when Lauren Sweetman was visiting her dad at his home on Singer Island. She was walking her dog Betty Boop around 9 p.m. when the unthinkable happened…
