A Coral Springs man was arrested after allegedly threatening his family with a kitchen knife during a domestic dispute and later assaulting officers.
Coral Springs Police Department arrest records show Jacob Rayshad Burkhardt, 28, was arrested on June 27 and is facing four felony charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery on a law enforcement officer, and two counts of resisting arrest.
The incident report indicates the incident began late on the night of June 26 at an apartment complex located near the 3100 block of Riverside Drive. Officers responded to a 911 call about a family member “yielding a knife and making threatening statements.”
