A man reported missing on the Fourth of July was later found deceased in a body of water in Parkland. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO), 27-year-old Christian Nogueira was located near the 5700 block of Northwest 61st Place. Local 10 reported that this was the last place he was seen at approximately 9:35 p.m. on the night he was reported missing.
BSO’s Missing Persons Unit had disseminated a missing persons alert last Saturday before the discovery was made. “Although foul play is not suspected, BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units will investigate Nogueira’s death,” states the notice from BocaNewsNow. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office is tasked with determining the exact cause and manner of death. Nogueira’s family had informed investigators that he had a heart condition and required medication, which colors this event with a hue of personal tragedy.
