DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A sweeping investigation across South Florida has led to the unraveling of a highly organized theft ring linked to a series of burglaries involving trailers, RVs, boat motors, and construction equipment valued in the tens of thousands of dollars.
According to the probable cause affidavit, three men — Lazaro Gonzalez Cabrera, Jose Raxon Lopez Sangermes, and Landy Espada — were accused of orchestrating and profiting from a coordinated operation stretching from Palm Beach County to Port St. Lucie and beyond.
The operation was led by the Delray Beach Police Department (DBPD) in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies.
