Stolen truck hits patrol cars, reaches speeds of 120 mph in chase across Palm Beach Co.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — A 26-year-old man is facing a stack of felonies after authorities say he led a violent high-speed chase across Lake Worth and West Palm Beach in a stolen pickup truck, intentionally struck law enforcement vehicles, and endangered public safety.

According to arrest affidavits, Eleison Alexander Figueroa, of Winter Springs, was arrested on July 16 following a multi-agency pursuit that ended in a crash on Okeechobee Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) coordinated efforts after surveillance identified the suspect and the stolen white Dodge Ram parked at 3326 Arcara Way.

FHP said the stolen 2019 white Dodge Ram was reported stolen on July 14 out of Orange County, and the suspect vehicle fled from the Boynton Beach Police Department the following day. The vehicle was then spotted on July 16, parked at 3326 Arcara Way in Lake Worth, causing PBSO to assist…
