A 16-year-old arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat on a Spirit Airlines flight that was set to depart Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was back in juvenile court Friday where multiple witnesses spoke in his defense.
The 16-year-old boy faces charges of criminal mischief and false report of a bomb/explosive, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. NBC6 is not identifying him because he is a minor.
