Pork Belly Bandit Busted: Man Threatens to Shoot Quince Supermarket Employee During Food Heist

A man was arrested after authorities say he threatened to shoot a Quince Supermarket employee who attempted to stop him from shoplifting pork bellies.

According to a Broward County Sheriff’s arrest report, Harlen Antwan Zorrilla, 44, of Sunrise, was taken into custody on July 16 following an incident that occurred on the evening of June 8 at Quince Supermarket, located at 6820 North University Drive in Tamarac.

Surveillance footage reviewed by investigators reportedly showed Zorrilla entering the store, concealing four packets of pork bellies worth approximately $40 in a bag, and attempting to exit the store without paying…
