DELRAY BEACH — A 36-year-old man was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with robbing two banks in the city, police said.
Delray Beach Police say Kevin Robertson, who is a transient, robbed the Truist bank on 140 E. Linton Blvd. after 4 p.m. July 16 and made off with more than $9,000.
On Thursday, July 17, at about 5 p.m., Robertson robbed the Chase bank branch at 4880 W. Atlantic Blvd., and took more than $10,000, police spokesman Ted White said Sunday. News reports said Robertson pulled off the robberies by giving tellers in each case threatening notes…
