HOMETOWN HERO: Boca Raton rabbi retires after three decades of spiritual leadership

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — For more than three decades this week’s ‘Hometown Hero’ has been serving as a guiding light for thousands of people in our community.

Rabbi David Steinhardt began leading the B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton in 1994. Since then, he has transformed it into a vibrant and inclusive spiritual home.

Rabbi Steinhardt just retired last month, but he sat down with CBS12 News This Morning anchor Sam Kerrigan to talk about what he’s learned about leadership all these years and some of his proudest accomplishments…
