Boynton Beach residents alarmed by vehicle break-ins, sparking crime trend concerns

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla (CBS12) — Many residents of east Boynton Beach woke up Monday morning to a troubling sight: shattered windows, ransacked vehicles, and stolen belongings.

What began as a routine start to the week quickly spiraled into a scene of frustration for some as Boynton Beach police confirmed at least eight vehicles were targeted in a series of overnight break-ins.

Two neighborhoods along Federal Highway—Bayfront and Seagate of Gulfstream Condominium, a 55+ community—were hit in what locals fear may be part of a growing crime trend…
