After days of detours and traffic cones, Boca Raton drivers can finally breathe a sigh of relief as Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) has wrapped up roadworks on US-441/State Road 7, North of S. Central Park Boulevard, the department has reported that all lanes were reopened following the completion of urgent pipeline repairs that had disrupted the flow near Boca Woods Lane, with vehicles now able to move unhindered in both directions as of late Thursday.
The construction that had occupied a segment of the road began with little fanfare but swelled into an everyday obstacle for commuters and residents alike, it was necessary for the maintenance of essential water infrastructure and, despite the inconvenience, PBCWUD was keen to emphasize the necessity of the work and its commitment to safety and efficiency, as evidenced by the timely reopening of the thoroughfare.
According to the Palm Beach County announcement, the issue was detected north of the intersection with S.
