JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — Mechanical issues were to blame Friday night for a sailboat that clanged into a Palm Beach County bridge.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) shared images of the scene showing the white sailboat’s mast right next to the Indiantown Bridge.
Other photos show PBCFR crews who were stationed at Burt Reynolds Park, in Jupiter, taking personal watercrafts to the boat, where they were able to talk to the boat’s captain…
