Palm Beach Police: Man punched person outside restaurant, then pointed gun at witness

Palm Beach Police arrested a West Palm Beach man on a pair of charges after they said he punched one person in the nose and later pointed a gun at another person outside of a busy restaurant.

The 25-year-old man faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, according to court records. He was released from the Palm Beach County Jail Aug. 4 on a $6,000 bond, jail records show.

Palm Beach Police were called to the 200 block of Royal Poinciana Plaza around 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2 by a Greenacres man who told officers that he saw the West Palm Beach man punch someone in the face just outside of a nearby restaurant, according to an arrest report…
