FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Firefighters responded to a one-story building on Wednesday morning in Fort Lauderdale’s Homes Beautiful Park area.
According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue, there was a fire in an apartment along Northwest 12 Avenue, near Eighth Street.
A senior was in the apartment and made it out safely. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
