BOCA RATON, Fla (CBS12) — Every week, disturbing cases of child exploitation surface across South Florida. But behind the scenes, a Boca Raton-based non-profit is helping law enforcement stay one step ahead.
Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), led by former federal prosecutor Greg Schiller, has developed groundbreaking software that tracks online predators in real time. The technology—based locally and provided free to law enforcement—is now used in 160 countries and by every Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in the U.S., including departments in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
“We generate software that we give to law enforcement for free all over the world so they can find online predators, arrest them and save children from sexual abuse,” Schiller said. “Our children are falling prey to victimization online by predators.”…
