Like most of the best adventures of her life, Suebelle Robbins’ career as a social media influencer started with a funny story. “I had been with one of my best friends at Pizza Al Fresco, and we were on our way to a trunk show at J McLaughlin. Suddenly, this girl just pops out and says, ‘What are you wearing?’” recalls Robbins of the chance encounter in 2023. The girl was Devorah Ezagui, a social media influencer who built her popular @classofpalmbeach Instagram following by asking the exact question she posed to Suebelle to thousands of unsuspecting people on the streets of Palm Beach.
Ezagui posted a video of Suebelle talking about her Ralph Lauren blazer, Brooks Brothers shirt, Hermes scarf and shoes and Bagley Mischka purse. The video got over 16,000 likes, and Ezagui’s followers loved Robbins’ look. The experience sparked an idea. “I always wanted to be an actress,” says Robbins, who launched her Instagram page @suebelle two years ago. Today, Robbins has over 500,000 followers who enjoy the big heart, big humor and big hair of this unique woman whose colorful life story took her from Catholic school teacher to Playboy bunny to a celebrity Palm Beach influencer.
