Man struck in face with cordless drill following verbal argument, attempted theft

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man was struck in the face with a cordless drill after he got into an altercation with a man who tried to enter his vehicle and steal his personal items.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), on April 11, deputies responded to the 6085 Farmers Place after receiving reports of a battery that occurred.

The victim, identified as a field supervisor for High Risk Enforcement, explained that while he was conducting parking enforcement, he had gotten into an argument with a possible resident, the probable cause affidavit says…
