September 3, 2025 – Delray Medical Center is the first hospital in Southern Palm Beach County to complete a procedure utilizing the Aliya ® Pulsed Electric Field Using INUMI ™ Flex Endoscope Needle for Soft Tissue Ablation. The milestone procedure was completed by advanced bronchoscopist Dr. Stephen Milan.
The Aliya® PEF with the INUMI Flex Needle delivers high-voltage, high-frequency electrical currents endoscopically to the target lesion. The PEF energy disrupts the transmembrane potential of the cell, destabilizing the cell, and resulting in non-thermal cell death, while preserving the surrounding healthy tissue.
