MIIXTAPECHIICKYNW Bortlen Set to Transfer to Florida State Prison Following Sentencing
Just one day after entering a no-contest plea in the 2018 double murder case of YNW Juvy and YNW Sakchaser, YNW Bortlen (real name Cortlen Henry) appeared back in court on Wednesday, September 10, to formally receive his sentencing instructions.
Bortlen, who’s been held in Broward County Jail since 2019, will now be transferred to a Florida State Prison to begin serving his 10-year sentence, followed by six years of probation. The sentence comes with roughly four and a half years of credit for time already served.
The transfer comes as the Broward State Attorney’s Office released an official statement confirming the details of the plea agreement accepted in court the day prior.
