Spirit Airlines, based in South Florida, has announced another round of furloughs as part of its ongoing bankruptcy reorganization. The airline will furlough an additional 365 pilots early next year, following 330 pilot furloughs already completed and another 270 planned for November, according to WSVN.
The company, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August for the second time in a year, will also downgrade up to 170 pilots in the first quarter of 2026.
