PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — More than 50 dogs are getting a second chance at life here in South Florid after being rescued from horrific hoarding conditions in Tennessee.
Tri-County Animal Rescue in Boca Raton took in 53 of the 285 dogs saved from three separate homes across Tennessee. Rescuers say the dogs were found living in filthy, overcrowded cages, many malnourished, untreated for skin diseases and heartworm, and never allowed outside.
