MARGATE, Fla. — Newly released video obtained by Local 10 News on Tuesday shows a group of thieves stealing dozens of candles from a Bath & Body Works in Margate, and employees believe the same suspects may have hit other stores across South Florida.
Surveillance footage shows three people walking into the store off Atlantic Boulevard with their faces covered and quickly filling bags with merchandise before walking out with more than 60 three-wick candles worth more than $1,600.
“She came in and she came in very hostile,” store employee John Flood told Local 10 News. “She came in complaining already. She already came in with bad energy.”…
