‘Heroic’ Teen Saves Several People from Flash Flooding, Including Elderly Man Stuck in His Seatbelt

A teenager is being celebrated as a hero after saving multiple stranded drivers from a flash flood in Boca Raton, Fla.

On Sunday, Nov. 2, Thomas Ruzzano, 18, was at the movie theaters at Mizner Park with his girlfriend as it stormed outside, according to WPTV and Local 10 News.

“During the movie, we just heard lightning, pouring the whole movie and then on the way out, we’re in a flood,”  Ruzzano recalled to WPTV. The outlet reported that the city had been struck by a strong storm, bringing eight inches of rain, heavy winds and lightning…
