Insult between Lake Worth Beach roommates led to fatal stabbing. Now one’s guilty of murder

A judge has sentenced a Lake Worth Beach man to life in prison after a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his roommate.

Jurors also found James Griffin guilty of tampering with evidence in the June 22 death of Dennis Lamy, 63. Circuit Judge Howard Coates immediately imposed a life sentence on Griffin’s murder conviction.
