ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Frantic 911 calls from a Royal Palm Beach Racetrac led to a man who allegedly thrashed, spat, and kicked a deputy in the forehead.
Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) say dispatch recieved a 911 call Wednesday afternoon from a woman saying that her son, later identified as 41-year-old Devin Wilson, was in distress, intoxicated, and having a seizure at a Racetrac gas station on the 600 block of Royal Palm Beach Blvd. in Royal Palm Beach. In the background of the call, a voice was reportedly heard moaning and saying, “Please help.”
Moments later, another call came from the Racetrac reporting that a man was “very drunk and super aggressive,” according to the criminal probable cause affidavit. They also told dispatch that he was fighting attempts to restrain him and was “very drunk and super aggressive,” and chasing customers in the parking lot…
