Lake Worth Beach man charged in $6.7M Medicare fraud scheme involving orthotic braces

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Lake Worth Beach man was arrested and charged in a sweeping federal indictment alleging a multimillion-dollar health care fraud scheme involving durable medical equipment.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Tuesday that Mark Weinberger, 62, faces five felony counts, including health care fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy.
