West Palm Beach’s downtown waterfront is poorly designed, underused and needs a major makeover to unlock its potential — including shrinking Flagler Drive and removing parts of the seawall, a new city report says.
The report, called “Your Waterfront, Your Way,” calls for Flagler to be slimmed from four lanes to two, allowing more room for bikers and pedestrians and making it easier for visitors to reach the water.
