Wildly popular market opens its second Florida outlet in West Palm

Just in time for holiday shopping, dining and cooking, the long-awaited Eataly Italian Market has opened in the heart of West Palm Beach’s CityPlace. The doors to what once was the Harriet Himmel Theater opened to the public Friday, Dec. 5. Within its 23,000 square feet Eataly houses two restaurants, several quick service counters and a retail section. For those hoping for a little more action, there is space for cooking school and a performance stage for demonstrations — a first for an Eataly in North America.

West Palm Beach is Eataly’s second location in South Florida, following the summer opening of an Eataly market in Aventura. The Italian food company was founded in Torino, Italy in 2007 and now has headquarters in Italy and New York City with more than 40 locations across the world. In the U.S., those locations include New York City, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Las Vegas and Los Angeles…
