West Palm Beach Police Nab Suspected Porch Pirate in Northwood Package Thefts

The string of package thefts in Northwood has reached a conclusion as West Palm Beach police arrest a suspect following a flurry of community theft reports. Glenn William Jackson, 58, found himself in custody on Friday after officers were tipped off about a man riding a bicycle who matched the suspect’s description provided by residents, as WPBF 25 News reports.

On three separate occasions, Jackson allegedly made off with goods not belonging to him, captured by the unblinking eye of surveillance cameras, reported CBS12. The cycling suspect was seen swiping packages from Northwood homes, with the earliest recorded incident occurring on November 17 and the most recent on last Wednesday.

Charges laid against Jackson include burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and grand theft of property, estimating the value of pilfered items between $40 and $750. After being apprehended, Jackson was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, where the suspect awaits further legal proceedings…
