WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The grieving family of a mother and her pregnant daughter killed in a crash filed a federal lawsuit against the City of West Palm Beach and seven of its police officers.
The 22-page lawsuit alleges that an unauthorized high-speed pursuit led to the deaths of Marcia May Pochette, Jenice Monique Woods, and her unborn child. The complaint, filed on December 10, seeks damages exceeding $10 million.
