Fort Lauderdale police responded to reports of suspicious packages in different parts of the city on Saturday morning, incidents that investigators believe may be related.
Police were first called at about 10:55 a.m. to the 1900 block of Cordova Road, where a suspicious package was reported outside a location. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s bomb squad responded and determined the contents of the package were not a threat, authorities said.
