SUNRISE, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida man is facing a felony child neglect charge after police said he towed a man’s car while his 4-year-old daughter was still inside.
An affidavit from Broward County said it happened on Dec. 14 in Sunrise, Florida, when a father parked his car on the curb in front of a restaurant and left his young daughter in the back while he ran inside. He told police he was only in the restaurant for about two minutes when he noticed the tow truck.

He immediately ran outside to find his car already being lifted by the tow truck, and started banging on the truck’s window to get the driver’s attention.
The father can be heard on video repeatedly yelling that his child is still in the car, but the tow truck driver, later identified as 34-year-old Sergio Suarez of Hialeah, continued driving away…
