Aldi is expected to continue with its robust store expansion plans in 2026, though the grocer currently has only two stores set to open in early January.
According to its website, Aldi will open new stores in Port Orange, Florida, and Chiefland, Florida, on Jan. 8. The Sunshine State remains a focal point for the company, which in December saw 12 new Aldi stores open across the state. In total, 22 new Aldi locations opened across 10 states in the two weeks before Christmas Day.
