Artist to destroy her work live at Coral Springs Museum of Art exhibition closing

Transitions, the Coral Springs Museum of Art and SOBRA Collective’s exhibition examining profound personal and collective change, is set to come to an end in less than two weeks. A closing reception is planned for Jan. 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.

“I was just thinking about, ‘What are these things that tie us all together?’” Curator Daniel Listwan told the Coral Springs News in November, regarding the theme. “That idea that we are always changing, and everything is always changing, and taking the time to be present and have the perspective on that moment was how everything clicked together in my mind.”

In addition to viewing the works on display at the closing reception, residents and visitors will also get to watch Giannina Coppiano Dwin, a multidisciplinary artist who creates intricate installations with salt, sugar and spices, as she destroys her work live…
