Florida Trooper Seriously Injured After High-Speed Chase on I-95 Ends in Crash, Driver Faces Multiple Charges

An intense high-speed chase that occurred on Christmas Day along Interstate 95 in Florida ended in a violent collision, resulting in serious injuries for a Florida Highway Patrol trooper. The pursuit began when the driver of the vehicle, now identified as 19-year-old Sundara Esperanza Garza, was spotted by officials swerving and speeding through Volusia County and refused to stop, as reported by NBC Miami.

The chase subsequently led the trooper and Garza into Titusville where both vehicles veered off the road, striking a guardrail. Struck the guardrail, the vehicles ran off the roadway, according to WESH.
