DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — A woman is facing a bevy of charges after she was arrested last week on accusations that she exploited multiple elderly victims to get cash and open at least one credit card, authorities confirmed.
According to arrest reports for Jamisha Shamari Sylvain, 26, of Deerfield Beach, one incident occurred on Sept. 27, 2025.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said Sylvain approached the victim, who is elderly and blind, outside of her apartment building off Southwest Third Ave. in Deerfield Beach as the victim had mail in her hand and asked the victim if she needed help reading it…
